The Hills plot

The series follows the life of Lauren Conrad after she and her friend Heidi Montag moved from Laguna Beach to Los Angeles. While in LA, Lauren spends her days at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and works at Teen Vogue with Whitney Port as her colleague. Audrina Patridge quickly becomes Lauren's first close friend from Los Angeles. Heidi finds out that studying isn't for her after all and takes a job at Bolthouse Productions.
