Rake plot

Cleaver Greene is a second rate lawyer based in Sydney, Australia. He throws himself into the most hopeless cases and pulls out all the stops to defend his special clients, who range from dog lovers and schoolgirls to bombers and cannibals. He prefers to swim against the current and most judges hate him. In short, he doesn't make it easy on himself. But compared to his private life, his work is a piece of cake. His ex-wife still calls him an unreliable piece of shit and he always has money and drinking problems.
