Slightly better than last season, if only because of the great lawnmower scene. Something I didn't see coming, but what great television. But also a bit better because some characters, especially Peggy and daughter Sally, show a bit more development. The first for example by smoking weed, the second because she gets a more prominent and oblique role.

The line around Sal is also interesting, especially how Don, who finds out about Sal's sexuality, deals with it. At first as if he doesn't care, but later he's rock-hard when Sal doesn't respond to the advances of a customer who threatens to walk away for that reason. One of the many "Me Too" moments in the series, of course typical of those years, but interestingly enough, only men are involved here. Also typical for those years was Roger in blackface, but that was something I didn't expect and which even shocked me a bit. I often find moments when I am shocked very interesting, and this is no exception.

Furthermore, the necessary soap elements such as Roger getting married again, and the marital problems of Don and Betty that finally result in a divorce. More interesting are the complications surrounding the office and in particular how Don manages to pull a gambit out of his hat to become independent. Moments like this, when Don shows his brilliance, are often strong moments.

A tad better than the previous season, but not enough to reach a significantly higher figure. So also 3* for this season.

I'm almost at the end of season 3 and I'm getting really annoyed by basically every male character. What a bunch of dissatisfied, arrogant, misogynistic, egoistic men. I had to laugh that the episode in which blackface was featured had an extensive message about how and what. Not once have I seen a message that the entire series is very misogynistic. Typical. Don Draper I know now, no depth or emotion that man. And then his wife, it seems like she's just doing whatever most of the time. The decor is beautiful, the historical facts are fun but I think this is a completely overrated series. I think I'll continue watching for a while (I hope everyone still gets what he/she deserves ) Luckily it's on Netflix and I can change the playback speed there.
