Lockerbie: A Search for Truth plot

On December 21, 1988, 259 passengers and crew are killed when Pan Am Flight 103 explodes after takeoff over Lockerbie. Eleven more residents are killed when the plane crashes over the quiet Scottish town. In the aftermath of the disaster and the death of his daughter, Doctor Jim Swire is appointed spokesman for the families of the British victims, who have united to demand justice and the truth. Traveling across continents and political divides, Jim begins a relentless journey that not only puts his stability, family and life in jeopardy, but also completely undermines his faith in the justice system. As the truth shifts beneath Jim's feet, his view of the world is changed forever.
