A summer day in Denmark, where everything seems normal, is brutally disrupted by a natural disaster. The rising water level can no longer be ignored and the government decides that all of Denmark must be evacuated. All property is suddenly worthless, and homes and institutions are abandoned. Those who can afford it travel to distant countries, while the less fortunate rely on the state-funded program and have to move to places where there is space. Chaos, division and powerlessness occur when the Danes have to say goodbye to their beloved homeland.
