According to many, Dexter has deteriorated quite a bit after season four, with this season being the absolute low point. Now I think the doomsday killer in the sixth season is still very nice, but especially this season is indeed not too good. I can live with the often rejected ending, even if it seems a bit rushed, but let's be honest: the writers have made quite a mess of this. That whole thing with Vogel and Dexter's background seems to have been taken out of the blue and detracts quite a bit from the series. Darri Ingolfsson also has a good head and the moment when Dexter robbed him of his life with a pen they caught me again. Overall mediocre.

This season I voted significantly lower than the other seasons. I have loved following this series and looked forward to watching another episode every week. The last episode was such a waste of the whole series that I can't help but give a disappointing 2.5*. The ending of this series was simply disappointing. This could have been and should have been better.
