Voices of Liberation plot
Texts and eyewitness accounts from people who took part in WWII allow us to follow the story of Europe's liberation in this historic documentary series. Each episode of this documentary series is accompanied by local hosts who all have a connection to WWII. For example, the Jewish grandfather of actor Géza Weisz, also an actor and also listening to the name Géza, died in a concentration camp in Auschwitz and Bart Peeters' grandfather was an important player in the resistance of Lier. In addition to the facts, the hosts also tell their personal stories and thus give the audience a different view of the events.
