82 Dagen in de Hel plot

The documentary series '82 Days in Hell' reconstructs how thousands of Mariupol residents hid for months in bunkers under a factory. Azovstal was a gigantic complex on the edge of the city, where until the Russian invasion some 25,000 people from the region worked. When the first bombs fell and residents started looking en masse for places to hide, the factory was a logical destination. It was common knowledge that there was an impressive network of tunnels with some 35 spacious bunkers from the days of the Cold War under the site. In the documentary series, various survivors recall what they experienced during that period.
