The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency plot
The No. 1 Ladies' Detective is about the first and only female detective agency in Botswana, founded by Mma Ramotswe after her father left her a significant legacy. She is assisted by her assistant Mma Makutsi and the car mechanic Mr. JLB Matekoni. Missing husbands, men who cheat on their wives, daughters who have boyfriends, she solves all problems for her clients, usually with humor. But when Mma Ramotswe has to search for a missing child, she comes into contact with the dark side of Africa.
