Starts off moderately and doesn't really get going until around episode 6. The level of this season is quite different. There are some great episodes in it (of which ''The Limo'' is my favorite), but then again the episodes where the emphasis is too much on the romance are not to get through. The stars of this season are Marshall and of course Barney. Alexis Denisof has a brilliant supporting role as a self-righteous newscaster...

Indeed less. Lily putting on a pirate face and making exaggerated statements like the one [user=22]The Oceanic Six[/user] already quoted is too much over the top. Lots of talking about babies and relationships. Zoey is slightly annoying, unlike the Captain (nice role by Kyle MacLachan), who unfortunately only shows up sporadically. Also, a lot here revolves around Barney's dad, with an overly emotional Barney and that's not how I find him funniest. A little less than the previous seasons. 2*.
