The Critic plot

Jay Sherman is always unlucky. He is not respected at home or at work. His job requires him to review gritty movies like Arthur 3: Revenge of the Liver, Honey, I Ate the Kids, and DT: The Drunken Terrestrial. His comment is usually "It stinks". Then there are his adoptive parents Eleanor and the somewhat strange Franklin, his sister Margo, the woman who does his makeup named Doris, and many others that he has to deal with.
