Doragon Bôru Cho plot

Dragon Ball Super continues after the end of Dragon Ball Z, where Majin Buu was defeated and where Earth could continue to live in peace. Goku now lives his life as a farmer and despite the peace that reigns there, a new threat is on the way called Beerus, the destroyer of worlds, who is considered the strongest and most dangerous person in the universe. Beerus learns about Goku through a prophecy in which he is described as a Super Saiyan God. When Beerus hears of this, he seeks out Goku to fight him.

Doragon Bôru Cho season 5

This was by far the best Dragon Ball Super saga for me. I really enjoyed this saga. I don't think it was finished when I watched Super on my limited-time Crunchyroll subscription (which I had renewed especially for Super), so I had to wait a week for a new episode (and sometimes even two weeks).

Nowadays I watch a lot of Netflix and then you have an entire season at your disposal, but the weekly release of a new episode also has something. I had two colleagues who also watched Super, and on Monday we would discuss the new episode that had come out over the weekend and speculate how the upcoming weekend would go. You miss that with Netflix series.

Waiting for a new episode may be annoying on the one hand, but waiting and then finally getting it and seeing it worth it is also something.

Further...

- The drawings were of very high quality in this saga.
- The animation was "super", especially during the final battle.
- Great to see how Jiren was smashed by Ultra Instinct Goku and later Goku/Frieza/#17
- This season also had "something" that I think was missing in the previous seasons. I'm not sure what... maybe it was just stretching the episodes, or maybe the fights were more exciting because of the time limit and because of what was at stake. Perhaps it was that the activation of Ultra Instinct was constantly lurking (just like Super Saiyan 1 during the Frieza Saga). I had the feeling that it mattered and that it was about something.

Remarkable that I think they made an episode or 5 of the last two minutes of the tournament? lol.

But a good ending to Super.
