The White Lotus is putting together another impressive ensemble cast for season three.
The White Lotus is a comedy-drama anthology series produced by HBO. Two seasons have been developed by White so far - one in Maui and one set in Sicily.
Both have received critical acclaim for the show's writing and the performances of the cast. Over the course of the two series produced, it has won 10 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes.
The third season is set to take place in Thailand, though production has been delayed due to the writer strike and ongoing actor strike. White has provided some details on what to expect.
"I'm seriously finishing scripts," The White Lotus creator previously told Entertainment Weekly before the actor strike ended.
"Still waiting to be able to cast. If the SAG strike isn't resolved soon, then yeah, we'd have to push again because the show has a new cast every season, so there are lots of parts to cast ... I'm more than eager to get going.
"It's going to be a supersized White Lotus. It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing ... I'm super excited about the content of the season."
The first two series had a superb roster of actors and the third series will be no different as Variety reports that White has recruited Jason Isaacs, Rosamund Pike, Parker Posey, Michelle Monaghan, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong and Leslie Bibb to join him in Thailand.

So far, the only characters to appear in both seasons are Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya McQuoid and Jon Gries' Greg Hunt.
For season three, White is open to the idea of having more stars return, and even teased an 'all-star' season in the future.
"It would be easy to just be full-on anthology, but I think it's more fun to have little threads through the show," he said. "If the show goes on for a couple of seasons, it would be fun to have an all-star season."
It has been confirmed that Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as spa worker Belinda in the third season.
