The White Lotus season three is putting together a brilliant cast to rival that of the first two seasons.
The HBO series is a comedy-drama anthology series. Two seasons have been developed by Mike White so far - one in Maui and one set in Sicily.
Both have received critical acclaim for the show's writing and the performances of the cast. Over the course of the two series produced, it has won 14 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes.
The third season is set to take place in Thailand, though production was delayed due to the writer and actor strikes. White previously teased the scale of the next series, telling Entertainment Weekly:
"It's going to be a supersized White Lotus. It's going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don't know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that's a good thing ... I'm super excited about the content of the season."
The first two series had a superb roster of actors and the third series will be no different as Variety reported that White has recruited Jason Isaacs, Rosamund Pike, Parker Posey, Michelle Monaghan, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong and Leslie Bibb to join him in Thailand.
New stars join The White Lotus
According to reports, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aimee Lou Wood are the latest names to join the cast.
