The Power of the Dog plot
The single brothers Phil and George Burbank are wealthy Montana landowners. One is a learned all-rounder, the other a quiet worker, but both have in common that they are widely respected. Atmospheric, slowly unfolding drama about two wealthy Montana landowners (Jesse Plemons and Benedict Cumberbatch). When one of them gets into a relationship, problems arise between the brothers. Beautifully played, especially by a subtly evil Cumberbatch here, and beautifully shot, this will be too slow and unstable for many viewers, but I found the characters fascinating and the tension cleverly and confidently stepped up.
