Ranch foreman Steve Barrett and "Tiny" Baldwin are rivals when it comes to supplying horses to the military. To help their country during World War II, they settle their differences. One dispute remains despite the war: which of the two will win the singing championship at 'Frontier Days Celebration'? 'Tiny' and his 'Hoosier Hotshots' were the champions last year. This year, however, Steve has Jimmy Wakely and his 'Oklahoma Cowboys' at his disposal.
