Stolen Women, Captured Hearts plot
"She was a beautiful woman abducted by a Sioux warrior. Now she must choose between the world she lost and the love she found."
Kansas, 1868. A caravan that includes the attractive, red-haired Anna Brewster-Morgan and her friend Sarah White, is attacked en route by a group of the Lakota-Sioux, led by the young and athletic warrior Tokalah. Tokalah lets Anna and Sarah go when he sees the frightened Anna with a Bible. He sees that as an omen. A little later, Tokalah kidnaps Anna and Sarah. The local cavalry led by Captain Farnsworth immediately gives chase. Anna and Sarah are taken to the camp of the Sioux and forced to live among them by Tokalah. Tokalah turns out to be in love with Anna. Desperate Sarah wants to return home, but the unhappily married Anna, partly because of Tokalah, feels more and more at home with the Sioux and seems not to want to go back to her husband and rancher Daniel Morgan.
