Last of the Comanches plot
"Ten men ... a woman ... and only a ghost of a chance !"
Arizona, 1876. The Indians are at peace with the whites, except for the Comanches led by Chief Black Cloud. After an attack by Black Cloud on the town of Dry Buttes, only six soldiers survived. The soldiers, led by Sergeant Matt Trainor, leave the city and head through the treacherous landscape to the nearest Fort Macklin, about 150 kilometers away. En route, in the desert, the soldiers are reinforced by four stagecoach travelers, including the attractive yet brave Julia Lanning. The now-thirsty party finds water at an abandoned outpost and they send the Kiowa Little Knife, a former captive of Black Cloud, ahead to Fort Macklin to get reinforcements. Trainor, meanwhile, tries to negotiate with the Comanches, who have surrounded him with his party and are without water.
