Mare Nostrum plot
Since childhood, Ulysses Ferragut has heard stories about the sea. Although his father wants him to follow in his footsteps and become a lawyer, Ulysses decides to become a sailor. Once an adult, Ulysses uses his savings to buy the freighter Mare Nostrum. He does good business, but it only really takes off when war breaks out and there is an explosive demand for cargo ships. During a stopover in Italy, Ulysses meets a woman who resembles a painting of the goddess of the sea, Amphitrite.
