L'Île Bleue plot

France, 1940. The Germans have just occupied France, but at the chateau in the countryside, the war still seems a long way off. Mellie, 20, lives there with her impoverished aristocratic father Alexandre and her adolescent cousin Robinson. Mellie's unpopular fiancée André has been drafted into the army. For Robinson and his friends, however, the war is just a game they play on the blue island in the lake.
