Il Grande Attacco plot
"The most awesome battle ever seen!"
During the Berlin Games in 1936, an American general (Fonda), an English correspondent (John Huston), a Jewish actress (Eggar) and a German major (Keach) meet. When the war starts we see it from their perspective. Fonda, Huston and Keach meet in North Africa, where Fonda tries to contact his son on the battlefield. Keach is killed, leaving behind his Jewish bride Eggar, and Huston is all over the place to cover the scenes.
