I expected a little more from this...

The film has 0.0 tension in the first place, which is a shame for a horror thriller. Then there is the story, which is on the weak side. It seemed as if the writers of the plot did not have much inspiration, because not much happened in the end in the film. In addition, you also have fairly weak acting performances in this film, which makes it all a bit more unbelievable. I already said that the writers did not seem to have much inspiration, which became even clearer to me at the end of the film. I also thought the final scene was pretty worthless.

It started off pretty exciting. A bit freaky and twisted, although I was irritated by the fact that the word 'family' was said 20 times in less than 3 minutes, but oh well.

You can actually see right away that Summer is a bitch. Absolutely not a nice character that you will feel something for. A really nasty person with rude statements. Where she goes and why, I didn't care. I liked Tom at first sight. Interesting and a bit mysterious.

Still, it was pretty clear pretty quickly what the 'surprising' plot twists were going to be. I didn't really find the ending disturbing, although that was more because I was quite happy that the film was over. Not so much because of the lousy acting, which was really not that bad, but mainly because of a rattling script and weak storylines.

Tragically bad movie. If you let an average high school kid with more passion for frikandelbroodjes than for movies write a screenplay, I imagine this would be the result.

Shockingly bad scenes. Bad acting. Story is like shit on dirk. Ugly filmed. Wants to be shocking and twisted but literally never is. Snoozefest of have I got me you there.

2 bright spots are the pretty face of Ashley Greene and the father, Stephen McHattie (with baseball cap on his IMDB photo, what's in a name) who still plays his role with some verve. Other than that this is really complete shit.
