Handsome Jake Barnes works as a security guard at a small bank on the Texas border. His boss Ed, who does not shy away from laundering drug money, expects to earn millions on unmarked dollar bills that have to be smuggled across the border through his bank. After a passionate affair with his mistress, Jake bumps into a dazzling blonde Kristin on a dark street, who seeks help after an argument with her sweetheart. However, Kristen is sent by Barrye, a ruthless criminal who plans to rob the bank the night the drug money is deposited.
