I Know Who Killed Me

Not so bad yet. The story gets more and more ridiculous and especially towards the end it all derails, but the beginning is pretty nice and Lohan doesn't do too bad. She has to play two personalities and of course she has experience with that. The film also wants to give it an erotic touch, but that fails miserably. Very sorry about that ridiculous ending.

Very mediocre.

Lohan is definitely not a favorite of mine, although she was nice in Mean Girls. But here she's not very perfect, despite doing a few scenes where she naturally radiates Lohan. Of course I just mean the pole scenes.

The story started out pretty decent, and I even started to wonder what was going to be so bad about it. But I was wrong, because then it starts to get more ridiculous by the minute after the murder. The twist is therefore more strange and ridiculous than clever.

The killer's denouement was well done, but the reasons for her "delusions" are just wrong and far-fetched. Fortunately, the horror was portrayed somewhat explicitly and that was a small plus.

But not recommended.

Whether it was a homage or a parody of Twin Peaks is not entirely clear, but I think I even heard a Badalamenti sound clip characteristic of that series several times. Furthermore, especially considering TP Season 3, the Blue Rose is clearly an element not to be missed. The broken heart also plays a prominent role. Also interesting was the somewhat peculiar "heavenly music" that was used here and there to support the images, and with that a reference to this great atmospheric film came into view: La Double Vie de Véronique (1991) - MovieMeter.nl.

All in all a not very bad "slasher" or what do you call such a film, but not quite my cup of coffee unfortunately.
