Dead Beat plot

"A Tale of Deep Love ... And Shallow Graves"

Kit is a narcissistic pathological liar and murderer with a strong preference for women. The story is told by his former follower Rudy. Kit lived to seduce, spending hours wearing makeup, hair straightener and glitter boots to make himself look like Elvis. He starts a relationship with Kirsten, a girl from a wealthy family. She's a kindred spirit who proves to be just as manipulative as he is. Soon she demands of him to prove his love for her. Kit trusts her and tells about the last murder he committed. He says he told Rudy this secret too, but Kirsten finds out he's lying. She uses this information to keep Kit with her. She also tries to get rid of Rudy by ruining his relationship with Donna. Kit and Kirsten continue their increasingly intense game, which eventually leads to murder.
