Lean data, minimal setting, but the experienced yet volatile Softley gets the maximum result out of it. When only two names are mentioned in the opening titles and then you see a very likeable guy on a deserted road in a woman's car on the road alone, then you know what's about to happen. This predictability is nicely circumvented by adding some novelties. For example, Curve really contains one of the grossest scenes I've ever seen when the bride in distress satisfies her hunger by eating a rat(bon appetit), a moment alone that makes it worth it to take a look at this second-tier thriller. For the rest nines top level, despite some nice side paths, at the end you end up again at the mandatory predictable conclusion. With two good-looking actors in the leading roles who, although they do not fall through the month, are clearly not among the better in the profession, it is mainly to Softley's credit that this horror film offers exciting entertainment. Nice snack if this type of film is your thing.

Unfortunately I have to pull the average score down a bit. So this film was very little: meager plot, predictable, completely uninteresting and completely improbable. Fortunately, it all lasted fairly quickly.

A film that does what it is supposed to do, but little more than that. It feels very standard, it's always the biggest fear with pick up hitchhikers that such a person turns out to be a psychopath, and this is little more than an elaboration of that idea. As noted above, much of the film takes place in the same setting and that also gets annoying in the long run. Apart from that, not really bad, but not very uplifting either. 2*.
