Quantum Apocalypse plot
A group of scientists from the United States check the solar system and are startled to discover that a comet is making an unexpected orbit toward Earth. Ben Marshall, mayor of Lafayette, Louisiana, tries to balance his career and family while caring for his autistic but highly intelligent brother Terry, despite his health ailments. Meanwhile, the citizens of the town have become very frightened by the reports about the comet and although many people, including Ben's family, do not take him seriously, they find out that Terry is a so-called "Rain Man". Everything Terry predicts will come true...
