"Immortality. It's a secret... to die for."

When the makeup of her blood is inexplicably altered by a confrontation with an alien spacecraft, an innocent little girl becomes the key to immortality. dr. Newmeyer, a murderous scientist, gets his hands on a sample of this mysterious compound and discovers the secret of immortality: the mysterious reds. These, only temporarily effective, "reds" make man immortal as long as they are administered daily. However, when his stock starts to run thin, Dr. Newmeyer will do anything to seize the little girl and secure his immortality forever. It's up to security guard Joe Keyes (Michael Biehn) and his ex-wife, Detective Monica Quick (Joanna Pacula) to find Dr. Newmeyer from doing so.
