Driven human resources worker Tess Nelson seeks a well-deserved promotion, but is fired instead. She decides that a business trip to a convention in Puerto Rico is a good way to find a new job. From the start, however, the journey is a disaster and an approaching hurricane makes it impossible to fly back.
