Seven Keys to Baldpate plot
"Mystery writer and blonde... too scared to kiss... in mansion of fear!"
Kenneth Magee is a mystery story writer who makes a bet with his friend. Kenneth makes a bet that he can finish his latest book at the quiet New England inn Baldpate, now isolated from heavy snowfall. His friend sends Mary Jordan to Baldpate to prevent Kenneth from winning the bet. Mary begins to steal parts of Kenneth's manuscript and she thinks she is the only one who has a key to the inn. In addition to the sinister innkeeper Gargan, however, even more people appear to have a key and therefore access to the inn.
