Viva Las Vegas plot

"Elvis is at the wheel but Ann-Margret drives him wild!"

Lucky Jackson (Elvis Presley) is an auto mechanic who dreams of becoming a racer. Famous Italian champion Elmo Mancini (Cesare Danova) proposes to him to join his team, but Lucky prefers to remain independent. By the way, he has already built a car to compete in the Grand Prix of Las Vegas, but one small detail is still missing, namely the engine. But Lucky gets lucky at the gambling city's gaming tables and wins enough money to buy the bike. However, when he loses the money, he has to start all over again and takes a job as a waiter in a hotel. There he meets quirky pool manager Rusty Martin (Ann-Margret).

Went to see this today in the cinema in Breda, there was a kind of Elvis weekend, including an Elvis exhibition in the casino.

Very nice to see an Elvis film on the big screen, especially one as colorful as this one in Las Vegas!

Nice watch of the film, even for non-fans like yours truly.

The story isn't much, but the music numbers and Ann-Margret are great to keep your attention.

Ending is a bit abrupt.

Definitely a big seven, or 3.5 stars.

For me it was especially worthwhile because of the beautiful and sexy Ann-Margret and her talent of dancing of course! The atmosphere in this film is also very pleasant.

Elvis Presley certainly doesn't do a bad job, but in my opinion he was better at singing. Then I like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, who, in addition to their singing career, also started acting better.

I can give this 3 stars, it's not all that great, but it is entertaining viewing with LOTS of Ann-Margret!

I think this is one of the best Elvis films, partly thanks to his then sweetheart Ann-Magret, who also sings and dances nicely. What good chemistry those two had!
