Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones plot
In 1972 The Rolling Stones toured to promote their album 'Exile on Main Street'; fifteen songs, with five from the 'Exile...' album. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman take the stage with three other musicians. Until the light comes on, we see the Stones against a black background. The camera remains mostly focused on Jagger, with some shots of Taylor. Richards comes into the picture with his duets and some guitar work on the last two songs. It's music from start to finish; for example hard rock ('All Down the Line'), blues ('Love in Vain' and 'Midnight Rambler'), an ode to Chuck Berry ('Bye Bye Johnny') and then the well-known 'Satisfaction'.
