The Windmill Massacre plot
"This isn't Hell. This is Holland."
Jennifer is an Australian girl who is on the run from her past and ends up in Amsterdam. In a desperate attempt to stay out of the hands of the authorities, she joins a group of tourists on a tour of most of the famous windmills. When the bus stops in a remote place, they are forced to take shelter in an empty warehouse next to a sinister mill about a dark legend. Soon all hell breaks loose.

I can appreciate the idea of the windmills and the combination of the home language and English in a horror film that also comes from the Netherlands. The beginning is okay and afterwards the film manages to be sufficiently entertaining, like so many 13 dozen horror films in recent years. But unfortunately most of the characters are annoying and the acting is also disappointing. This is not the reason why the film receives an unsatisfactory grade, because the ending ensures that. Somewhat surprising, but it doesn't fit in with the entire design of the story. Totally nonsensical ending. 4/10

For a Dutch production I thought it was quite good. I like Dutch horror. Sint, Amsterdamed, Dead End and so on. Those were better than this one, but still nice to see once.
