Películas para No Dormir: Para Entrar a Vivir plot

Clara and Mario are on their way to see a new flat. At first glance it looks like a real slum, but soon they become very attached to the old building - but literally. It turns out that their real estate agent is completely crazy and looking for the perfect tenants. She does not want to mention one thing in the contract. There is no option to ever leave the property.

Very surprising.

I started this one without any idea what to expect, Spanish horror that certainly promised something.

If the rest of those to keep you awake films also reach this level, I can't wait to watch them too.

There is a very nasty atmosphere, in addition to the tension there is also some gore, and on top of that there are excellent acting performances and a well developed story..

Everything passes by at a brisk pace, 68 minutes are well filled and so you won't be bored anywhere... I was really on the edge of my seat!

Highly recommended 4*

Reasonable and bloody horror, where despite the short duration the simple story still seems reasonably neat. I didn't think it was nearly as good as La Habitación del Niño, the only other film I've seen from this series of TV movies so far. There I thought that Álex de la Iglesia was able to get more out of the low budget than what Balagueró shows here.

Despite that, it is not a bad horror, but I still found it quite average, although it may also have to do with the relatively high expectations I had beforehand.

It does feel like a foretaste of [•REC] and Mientras Duermes (both by far better than this one). It seems as if Balagueró has gained a lot of ideas for those two films with this film. In both films we encounter a traditional residential apartment from Barcelona, with various residents who are terrorized, and we also see a big creepy bald guy in Mientras Duermes, where it is not the owner but the caretaker who attacks the residents. makes life miserable.

Nice to see once, especially if you like bloody horror.

A film by Balagueró, who also has the brilliant [REC] to his name, certainly creates expectations. You know in advance that this isn't going to be as good, but it is a very entertaining film, especially for the blood-hungry horror freaks among us.

The setting is small but nice. I couldn't find it anywhere, but it could be that the apartment complex is the same one that was used a year later in [REC]. It reminded me of it constantly, it created a suitably unpleasant atmosphere. The story is kept fairly simple, but for an hour-long film you shouldn't want to tell too much.

I like to see Macarena Gómez act. Not mother's prettiest, but she always has some kind of appeal. Here too she convincingly plays the victim. González as the landlady was also a creep, although it could have been a little more. That son is a little more successful in comparison.

The film is quite exciting, although it is difficult to come up with surprises if you are familiar with this kind of maniac vs. victim videos. Fortunately, To Let (terrible title) provides a bloody second half. Small, but nice video.
