Impuratus plot
"Pray it does not learn your name."
Detective Clayton Douglas, a troubled cop, is called to a remote mental asylum to investigate a bizarre case. There he encounters a dying patient named Daniel Glassman, who claims to have been possessed by an evil entity in the year 1862. With Sister Rose as spiritual aid, Clayton goes back in time and discovers the gruesome truth behind Glassman's possession. As he and the others question their faith and fight for their souls, they soon realize that the forces of darkness are stronger than they ever imagined. Can Clayton and his team put an end to the entity's reign of terror before it's too late?

Strange but atmospheric film, with quite a few too long dialogues, which is also the
long playing time. Starring a rather puffy-looking Tom Sizemore,
who knows how to hold her own in acting. The acting is overall
Not bad anyway, but the film never really convinces. It is mainly the
atmosphere (even if it is not special) that has to do it in this film. And I arrive at no
good, not bad. In other words, a cautious 3.0 rating.
