"It only dies if you do."
Brigitte, Ginger's sister, has fallen victim to the same virus that turned her sister into a werewolf. Plagued by visions of the deceased Ginger, Brigitte tries to stop her physical change. She uses the poisonous extract of the monkshood plant, which gradually makes her addicted. While living an addicted life, she is stalked by a male werewolf who wants to mate with her.

The sequel to the first, but I liked this one less than the first. I felt that too little happened in the film, until the last half hour or so. A plus I thought was that the werewolf looked better than in the first.

Not bad at all, with two strong lead roles and a nice unpleasant location, but the weirdness of the first film (the us-against-the-world feeling of two gothic sisters) has been replaced here with what could almost be called a surreal dysfunctional family. (with headmistress Alice as a dictatorial mother, nurse Tyler as an older brother who is not averse to a pinch of abuse, and Ghost as a disobedient sister who goes over the line), and then you actually get a film that I don't think is that much has more to do with the original. However, judged on its own merits, this is quite a good horror film with a lot of gore (although the monster is still not convincing) and a surprising role by Tatiana Maslany.
