The Canterville Ghost plot
Professor Harim goes to England for a study project and his family is thrilled when it turns out that they will be staying in a real castle. The family's daughter, Virginia, soon encounters a ghost that has haunted the castle for 400 years. Virginia is the only one who can see the ghost and it turns out he's not evil. Simon de Canterville is his real name and the two become friends. Simon de Canterville helps Virginia with the blossoming romance with the boy next door Francis, but Virginia can also mean a lot to Simon de Canterville. She rescues him from his damnation of having to haunt the castle forever.
