Loenatik - De Moevie plot
In the film, the Lunatiks have to move. The old Zonnedael clinic has so many defects that the patients have to leave. dr. Bomhoff has a good alternative: Binnenzorg. This is a closed facility, where many other patients reside. In the new clinic, completely different rules apply than the five patients were used to in Zonnedael and that gives enough craziness for a real feature film...

Gosh, I've seen this twice and never wrote anything. Just happened to see him on 3 a few months ago.
Nice kids movie though. Especially the first half is funny, also contains the most humor. The characters are still great, especially for children. Later on, the film weakens as the "important life lessons" and the emotions come into play.
Furthermore, everything was well enough taken care of, especially the music, which was really 'loenatik'.
So it's a shame that the last 40 minutes has zero humor and goes in the sentimental direction. If they had just kept the spice of the first part, it would have been a bit more viewable for kids too. Now suddenly remind me that I didn't like this, with the school outing of group 5.

Well this movie is definitely funny and there is also strong acting by the cast.
Nice story that flows well and smoothly.

Loenatik, that was really something of my generation when youth programs still had content and that little bit more that made them popular with older people.
So I was delighted when Ned3 repeated the series during the past summer months, and happened to find out via moviemeter that there was also a Loenatik de Moevie. 
I thought it was a very successful ending to the series. 
While the episodes usually take place in Zonnedael, the experiences of our favorite pleasantly insane - the major, Beppie, de Haas, Doolittle and Fats - now take place in all kinds of other locations. That was very nice, because now they each end up in situations where they can really empathize with their 'crazy'. Beautiful!
Like the series, the film again provided quality television that is about something. They don't make things like that for the (big) children anymore, which is a shame.
