Brought this drama once and it was not wrong. Not the film with the fastest pace, but the things that happened are immediately quite drastic.
The cast did a great job and here again beautiful atmospheric images.
Well, a great film to watch if they show it on TV, but I wouldn't specifically look for it.

The beautiful shots of Norway's natural beauty cannot hide the fact that this is, all things considered, a weak film about an old man who - after meeting his new neighbor - sees the most remarkable events of his youth pass by. Apart from a handful of dramatic incidents, that childhood isn't captivating enough to warrant a two-hour movie. I've been quite bored.
