The Wild Hunt plot

"It's no longer a game."

Erik's girlfriend Evelyn is fascinated by LARP (live action role playing). Every weekend she goes into the Canadian forests to spend time in a fantasy world with other enthusiasts dressed as knights, elves and Vikings. The tribes fight among themselves, with swords made of Styrofoam. Erik, whose brother is a Viking leader, sees Evelyn become estranged and goes after her, in a last-ditch effort to win her back. But in the world of LARP, "Princess" Evelyn has been kidnapped by the barbarians, led by Murtagh. Erik must immerse himself in the fantasy world if he is to free Evelyn from Murtagh's clutches.
