Miranda is determined to become a singer in Nashville. When Miranda arrives at The Bluebird Café she is just late for the weekly audition. She meets James, a sassy Texan. After a week, Miranda returns to The Bluebird Café, but she fails to pass the auditions. But together with two other singer-composers they try, with a lot of trial and error, to make it in the hard music world.
