The Ten Commandments plot
The first part of this film tells the story of Moses taking the Jews from Egypt to the Promised Land, his reception of the memorial plaques and the worship of the golden calf. The second part shows the effect of the commandments in normal life in San Francisco. Two brothers, John and Dan, are rivals because they are both in love with Mary. They clash when John discovers that Dan is using bad materials when building a cathedral.
