What a terrible seat, but I just stayed put. Whether I should have done that I don't know, because The Last Emperor of China can't even tie his own shoelaces. He's not a very inspiring person, although he probably doesn't owe that much to himself. The Last Emperor of China might have the title of Emperor, but in fact he had little to say. He was a sort of prisoner of his own title. Despite the fact that for a long time everything goes the same within the Forbidden City in Beijing (which I've already seen myself, it is very expansive), the world outside is changing much faster.

I think there have been far more interesting people than Pu Yi to make a movie about, let alone a 3.5 hour one. Also, the time in the Forbidden City is actually drawn out far too long, although the beginning is perhaps the best. I've seen that 3.5 hours in 5 evenings, that's not often happened to me, but I really struggled to keep my attention.
