"HOLLYWOOD'S CONFIDENTIAL STORY!! A MOVIE STAR TELLS ALL!"
This biographical film is about the life of George Raft (1895-1980), played here by Ray Danton. The story begins with young Raft coming to New York to seek his happiness. He becomes a dancer and is connected with figures from the underworld. He goes to Hollywood and becomes known for his role in Scarface (1932), after which he is always cast as a gangster. When he has had enough of these roles, he tries to change his character, which he succeeds in doing with his part in Some Like It Hot (1959).
