The Book of Daniel plot
If Jerusalem in 605 BC. conquered by Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel is taken captive to Babylon. He is forced to serve the most powerful man on Earth at the time. Daniel proves reliable, stands out for his many talents and eventually becomes the king's confidant. But jealousy is always lurking. The people around Daniel want nothing more than to get him out of the way and turn his loyalty to God into the stakes of a dangerous plot. Daniel's choice to put his loyalty to God above his loyalty to the king ultimately lands him in the lion's den. With nothing more than his faith, he comes face to face with the hungry lions.
