Shitsurakuen plot
"Rather lovers in hell than alone in heaven."
Rinko Matsubaro and Sholchiro Kuki have made choices over the course of their lives that make their future seem completely fixed. Both are stuck in an unimaginative job and a dead marriage. The fire in their hearts has been extinguished and has given way to coldness. Everything changes the day they meet by chance and fall in love instantly. In each other's arms they forget all grayness and the more often they secretly come together, the stronger their desire becomes. The hours they can't spend together seem like days. However, the restrictive moral laws of Japanese society have no place for their passion. With every kiss the shame grows, after every forbidden night of love the guilt increases again, until finally there is only one way left for them to be together...
