Byeong-Soo is a former serial killer who today suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Byeong-Soo discovers the identity of a new serial killer, Tae-joo, who then takes an interest in Byeong-Soo's daughter. To protect his daughter, Byeong-Soo must fight not only against Tae-joo, but also against his memory.

A bit disappointed. Afterwards I had too many questions, so those last ten minutes were not necessary at all. That last twist was just too much and made everything unnecessarily complicated. When the end credits rolled, I wondered if everything was still correct.
I certainly thought the idea was clever. The serial killer who starts to lose his memory and wonders whether the new wave of murders that are now happening are his or not... clever... but in the end the director misses his moment of glory because of the good idea not properly to exploit. Because I often found the situations put together quite predictably. It is so obvious that everything may be happening in Byeong's imagination that you can easily see some things happening.
Conclusion: brilliant in the beginning, sloppy in the end. But I wouldn't ignore it because the film relies on strong acting from the lead actor and all in all it has some good moments.

Excellent thriller about a former serial killer, who has occasionally suffered from dementia since a car accident. His dark past comes back to life for him when he meets his alter ego.
An exciting, sometimes complicated film with a strange ending that makes the story extra mysterious and places what preceded it in a different light. Some more depth into the protagonist's past would have been welcome in my opinion.
Kyoung-gu Sul's well-developed performance as the demented killer stands out.
