Perfidia plot
Laura and Ruben - former couple - meet after many years of not speaking to each other. To celebrate this occasion, they go on a weekend getaway to a cottage in the mountains. In the long run strange events begin to occur there, which probably have to do with Ruben's youth.

I wrote it before, when I start watching a South American film again, it usually disappoints. This one too, horror from Chilean soil. On paper, the plot seems quite nice. A 'cabin in the woods' always offers possibilities. Although the premise is a bit strange, two ex-lovers who go and camp in a remote forest hut for a few days, and then do nothing together. At least, I haven't seen it. Although that Catherine Mazoyer in her thin top is quite sexy.
The couple is harassed by a group of forest spirits from a former sect, who want to incorporate the two. That means a lot of scary noises and a lot of running back and forth in that impenetrable forest to stay out of their hands. There is not much story in it. The two main characters are not really highlighted either. At times I found it a bit exciting, hence half a point more than average.
