Nous Trois ou Rien plot
Tehran, 1971. As the Shah of Iran blindly leads his country into debacle, Hibat Tabib, a passionate young student, joins the ranks of the opposition and secretly participates in a campaign against obscurantism and injustice. He is arrested, tried and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He is then 25 years old. He is released after 7 years of humiliation and torture. But he is an indestructible optimist and crosses paths with Fereshteh. They decide to get married in a few days. Hibat's activities within the underground opposition party and the regime of terror of the Mullahs oblige him, Fereshteh and his son to go into hiding. On January 1, 1984, Hibat, who is hunted day and night, is forced to flee. He accepts the exile on one condition: it's him, his wife and his son, or nobody.
