Map of the Human Heart plot
"Born in the magic of youth. Forged by the passions of war. Their love knew no boundaries."
In 1931 a cartographer comes to Canada's arctic north to map the area there. There he meets an Eskimo boy suffering from tuberculosis, and takes him back to England, where the boy is healed and raised in a Catholic foster home. The boy then meets a half-breed girl and they fall in love. Then they are separated from each other and the boy goes back to Canada. Years later, the boy meets the cartographer again and tells him to pass on a message to his beloved. He joins the Air Force during WW2 to fight against Hitler and thus ends up back in England. Then they meet again, but there are still some obstacles that they have to overcome before they are finally together.
